Ecotoxicity management system
Until now, we have been focusing on the management of “water quality” in physicochemical analysis such as BOD and heavy metal. Now we have shifted our policy to the management based on "water ecosystem" through bioassay.
Subjects of ecotoxicity
Applied public facilities | Applied public facilities | Remarks (category) |
---|---|---|
- Wastewater treatment facilities(145 locations) - Public sewage treatment facilities (73 locations) |
- 35 categories of wastewater discharging facilities(2,040 locations) | Food additives, textile dyeing, pulp, Paper manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, etc. |
- From 2011, it is mandatory in wastewater treatment facilities, public sewage treatment facilities and class 1 & 2 business places - From 2012, it will be gradually applied to class 3, 4 and 5 business places |
Acute toxicity test for Daphnia magna
Quick and accurate toxicity test due to the enlargement of exclusive laboratory for acute toxicity test on daphnia magnas. We provide the test to analyze cause substances.
Water pollution process test standard (Notified by the Ministry of Environment in 2009, February 02, 2009)
Acute toxicity test on daphnia magnas using wastewater and sewage
This is a test conducted as part of the integrated management system for ecotoxicity. Daphnia magnas are exposed to wastewater and sewage for 24 hours to assess toxicity.
