Outline for NRTL certification system
NRTL is Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory under United States Department of Labor (OSHA; Occupational Safety and Health Administration, www.osha.gov).
Product subject for NRTL certification designated by OSHA
- 1. Electric electronic product
- 2. Explosive proof device
- 3. Gas device (Equipment related to LPG)
- 4. Fire fighting equipment (Fire extinguisher, fire sensing device, etc.)
Procedure
To meet legal condition by product, standard such as ANSI(American National Standards Institute), ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials), FM(Factory Mutual Research Corporation), UL(Underwriters Laboratories), NFPA(National Fire Protection Association) should be applied to product to carried out test and certification.
NRTL certification consignment service procedure of KTR
Outline
- - Provide NRTL certification consignment service through MET and MoU in U.S.
- - MET is authorized international test facility by IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Equipment. NRTL certification(MET Mark certification) has been authorized in U.S. and Canada.
- - For audio, video, and light equipment depeding on KTR and MoU, test is available at KTR test facility other than U.S. Ohter NRTL certification that has been achieved can be converted to MET Mark.
- - NRTL certification consignment service other than MET is possible.

- 2. Circuit diagram
- 3. Major part list
- 4. NRTL certificate for major part (If you don't have it, only part can be used)
- 5. Information on applicant (English)
- 6. Manufacturing factory information (English)
- 7. Samples for test
